Hereditary Angioedema Attacks With Sebetralstat in the KONFIDENT-S Study

Riedl M, Aygören-Pürsün E, Bernstein J, et al

This analysis from the ongoing open-label KONFIDENT-S study evaluated real-world treatment patterns and patient preference for oral sebetralstat versus conventional on-demand therapies for hereditary angioedema attacks. Most attacks were treated with sebetralstat, which was preferred across patient subgroups and attack types, indicating strong patient acceptance of the oral therapy. Use of sebetralstat was associated with a higher overall treatment rate compared with real-world studies, suggesting reduced treatment barriers and greater willingness to treat even mild attacks.
