Dietary Consumption Feasibility Following Treatment With Multi-Food Oral Immunotherapy or Omalizumab

Chinthrajah R, Lanser B, Scurlock A, et al

This analysis from the OUtMATCH trial evaluated the feasibility and success of dietary consumption of allergenic foods over 12 months after treatment with multi-food oral immunotherapy or omalizumab. Participants in both groups were able to successfully introduce and maintain consumption of allergenic foods, with over 60% of dietary consumption plans sustained at 12 months and no significant differences between treatments. Safety profiles were similar between groups, supporting both multi-food oral immunotherapy and omalizumab as viable strategies for enabling long-term dietary incorporation of allergenic foods.
