The COMBINE Trial: Dupilumab Enhances Desensitization and Reduces GI Symptoms

The study used a randomized clinical trial design to evaluate whether adding dupilumab to omalizumab-facilitated multi-allergen oral immunotherapy improves desensitization and symptom outcomes. Dupilumab did not significantly increase sustained unresponsiveness; however, it enhanced desensitization and reduced gastrointestinal symptoms during therapy. Overall, these results suggest adding dupilumab may improve tolerability and short-term efficacy of multi-allergen immunotherapy.
