Oral Deucrictibant Improves Health-Related Quality of Life in Participants With Hereditary Angioedema

Manning M, Anderson J, Arcoleo F, et al

The phase 2 CHAPTER-1 study with an open-label extension evaluated the long-term impact of oral deucrictibant on health-related quality of life in patients with hereditary angioedema. Long-term deucrictibant treatment led to sustained and clinically meaningful improvements in health-related quality of life, with all participants reporting overall improvement and large reductions in Angioedema QoL Questionnaire scores through week 86. Improvements were particularly notable in functioning and emotional domains, supporting deucrictibant’s potential as an effective long-term prophylactic therapy for hereditary angioedema.
