In an interview conducted at the Eleventh Annual Meeting of the Society of Hematologic Oncology (SOHO 2023), Prithviraj Bose, MD, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, discusses appropriate treatment options for patients with systemic mastocytosis, including advanced, indolent, and smoldering types. Dr Bose discusses anti-mediator and cytotoxic treatments, as well as targeted agents. Promising results from ongoing trials are also discussed.
