The Women Survivors Alliance is an organization that is geared towards providing support for women who have survived cancer, through community, communication, and networking. Co-founders Karen Shayne and Judy Pearson created the organization to fill a void, offering an online magazine for women, an annual convention, and a platform for women survivors which helps them take initiative and regain control of their lives after cancer.
