Shiv Gaglani and Ryan Haynes, Co-Founders of Osmosis, talk about the new mobile learning platform, which is currently being used by over 18,000 medical students. Osmosis is designed to help make students’ lives easier through by using gamification as an educational tool. In order to improve retention of course material, the students need to be challenged and constantly quizzed on what they are learning. Through a team of 150 medical students, residents, and faculty members, Osmosis has established the largest crowd-sourced medical question bank, which students can use to make studying more efficient and more effective.
