Joseph Demer, MD, Professor of Opthalmology and Neurology, UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, discusses double vision, which is not uncommon in the elderly and is traditionally attributed to neurological causes. Research now shows that it is often caused by wear and tear of the ligaments surrounding the eye sockets.
