A study completed by researchers in China, of patients with renal cell carcinoma (RCC), attempted to both validate previous conclusions and look at the influencing factors of perioperative renal function change and its relationship to patient prognosis after nephrectomy and thrombectomy. The completed study may be foundational in more clearly understanding perioperative renal function change for RCC patients with tumor thrombosis (TT) who undergo nephrectomy and thrombectomy.
