How Do On-Off Fluctuations Affect Patients with Parkinson’s?

Patients with Parkinson’s may experience “on-off” fluctuations, which are changes in the ability to move and are usually related to medication timing. These fluctuations can result in the stiffening or cramping of muscles and some patients may even experience emotional distress and/or anxiety.
