AML Treatment Challenges Who, When, and How

Jorge Cortes, MD, director of the Georgia Cancer Center in Augusta, GA, provides a comprehensive look at the current challenges specialists face in providing optimal treatment for patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Dr. Cortes also discusses some history of AML research and treatment, the most recent approvals of new therapies for certain patients with AML, and data from some of the recent clinical trials of the aforementioned therapies.
