EGD vs. Capsule Endoscopy in Cirrhotic Portal Hypertension

In a recent issue of Hepatology, a study of noninvasive methods for detecting esophageal varices in cirrhotic portal hypertension patients shows that gold-standard endoscopy proved a better tool than capsule endoscopy.
