The intended audience for the activity is primary care physicians, internists, cardiologists, and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of patients with cardiovascular disease.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this educational activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Determine the most appropriate cardiac imaging tests for the assessment of coronary artery disease in individual patients.
  • Apply evidence to practice regarding the advantages and limitations of SPECT and PET imaging, as well as review the characteristics of agents used for pharmacologic stress testing.

If a satisfactory score on the posttest is achieved, Vindico Medical Education will issue an AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ Certificate.
