In this interview with Dr Lori Tucker, an investigator at BC Children’s Hospital and Clinical Professor, Division of Rheumatology, Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, University of British Columbia, she discusses her pediatric rheumatology experience and the advances she has observed in the field. One of the largest advances is having a PhD researcher on the team, where every patient can be asked to take part in research. A shared decision-making model has been developed with pediatric patients to help determine what they may experience in the future.
