The US House of Representatives late this week took a first step toward fixing the broken Medicare payment formula by voting 243-183 to pass the Medicare Physician Payment Reform Act of 2009. The senate is also busy as it works towards passing health care legislation. The senate unveiled its health system reform bill and pending some procedural measures, floor debate over The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act could begin as soon as this week.
