Use of Aducanumab for Treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease

Charles Bernick, MD, MPH, Clinical Trials Director, UW Medicine Memory and Brain Wellness Center, Clinical Professor of Neurology, University of Washington School of Medicine, discusses the use of aducanumab in patients with Alzheimer’s disease. UW Medicine was a clinical trial site for aducanumab, which was recently approved by the FDA and may be used to slow the progression of Alzheimer’s disease. Further studies are planned to substantiate the clinical trial results.
