Ian A Cook, MD, Director, Unipolar Depression Research, UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, discusses a new depression treatment using gentle brain stimulation called TMS, or transcranial magnetic stimulation, and describes new research which uses EEG to determine early response to treatment which is thought to be predictive of treatment outcomes.
