Target Audience

The intended audience for this activity is hematologist-oncologists, medical oncologists, transplant surgeons, critical care surgeons, critical care pulmonologists, and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of patients with or at risk for invasive fungal infections.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this video series, participants should be better able to:

  • Describe the epidemiology and burden of invasive fungal infections in patients who are immunocompromised and/or immunosuppressed.
  • Incorporate the latest diagnostic techniques for invasive fungal infections to ensure that the appropriate therapy can be initiated in a timely manner.
  • Integrate the latest evidence-based treatment guidelines and clinical data pertaining to the efficacy, safety, and prophylactic use of antifungal agents to optimize the management of invasive fungal infections.

Provide only one (1) correct answer for each question. A satisfactory score is defined as answering 2 out of 3 of the posttest questions correctly for each video. Upon receipt of the completed materials, if a satisfactory score on the posttest is achieved, Vindico Medical Education will issue an AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ Certificate.
