Bruce Singer, Psy.D., Program Director, Chronic Pain and Recovery Center, Silver Hill Hospital, explains that chronic pain syndrome is best understood as a complex collection of symptoms and urges physicians to address all pertainable aspects of chronic pain syndrome. As these symptoms are resolved, patients may find what they’re left with is residual “clear” pain, a much more manageable situation.
