Tips to Consider When Screening Patients for Prediabetes

Prediabetes screening utilizes some of the same tests used for identifying type 2 diabetes. In this video, Dr. Frias lists scores on three common screening tests (fasting plasma glucose, hemoglobin A1C, and 75g oral glucose tolerance) that indicates someone in an intermediary position between normal pancreatic function and a type 2 diabetes diagnosis.
