About the Activity

Who, What and Where

Practical Business for the Private Practice is a 131 minute online video series for physicians and their support staff on real world business education. A computer or mobile device with a high speed internet connection is required to view the content.

Learning Objectives

When running or establishing a private medical practice, it is essential for physicians to understand that their role extends beyond clinician to business owner and/or entrepreneur. As a business owner, a physician must be able to effectively identify their brand or product, recruit and manage staff, market or advertise, and understand policies, procedures and concepts behind the third party payer system. This CME activity addresses all of the above.

Faculty and Credentials

The program was developed and created by Matt Dallmann. He is Vice President of the New York City based boutique medical billing service, VGA Billing Services, Inc. VGA has collected over $41 Million for their clients in private medical practice since 2011. Matt is also the president of CPS (Creative Practice Solutions). CPS contributes monthly blogs to the national physician resource,, and provides expert consulting services to physicians in private practice.

Post Test Requirement

Participants must pass a post-test and complete an evaluation after viewing the activity to be eligible for CME credits.
