NYC Man with Ebola in Stable Condition

According to CBS News, Craig Spencer, the New York doctor who tested positive for the Ebola virus is in stable condition at Bellevue Hospital Center. The New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation reports that Spencer is receiving antiviral and plasma therapies, and is recovering in an isolation unit. Just prior to being admitted to the hospital, Spencer took three subways and was seen at a sandwich shop and bowling alley, drawing concerns from the public about the possible spread of the virus. No additional cases have been reported and health officials have reassured that the chances of the infection spreading to strangers is close to zero.
