New York’s 2014 Belmont Stakes

The Race for the Triple Crown

The Belmont Stakes are the third and final leg of the world-renowned Triple Crown, and a once-in-a-lifetime experience not only for fans of horse-racing, but for anyone who enjoys an exciting sporting event.

Since 1867, the Belmont Stakes has drawn enormous crowds to New York, including over 120,000 spectators in the 2004 race. Excitement and tensions are running high as fans are hoping to see a Triple Crown winner at this year’s race, which, if successful, would be the first time since Secretariat galloped to victory back in 1973.

The race will take place on June 7th in Belmont Park, located in Elmont, NY.
