Lack of Sleep Dangerous for Childrens’ Health

Not getting enough sleep can negatively impact children, Reuters article reports. Medicare Australia researched a group of nearly 3,000 children ages seven and under, and the data showed that those children who slept less performed worse on physical functional, emotional, and social tests. In addition, children who slept less were two times as likely to be obese, and had a consistently higher percentage of body fat than those who slept longer.
