An evening at Kaufmann’s, in many respects, is a journey back in time. The landmark restaurant built in 1937 still boasts decor original to the era and exudes an atmosphere of family hospitality. Their menu includes crabs steamed on-site, fresh seafood, steak, and prime rib – fine dining in a casual atmosphere. A favorite among visitors is the imperial crab prepared in a Maryland classic way, perfectly laced in its sauce, graciously seasoned, leaving room for the flavor of this beautiful jumbo lump crab. Consistently good food in a convivial setting.
