CDC Investigating Why US Man with Ebola Initially Turned Away from Hospital

When Thomas Eric Duncan, the first U.S. Ebola patient walked into a hospital two days before testing positive for the virus, nurses sent him home, increasing the risk that the infection spread, according to CBS News. The CDC is currently investigating why the Duncan was turned away, in addition to monitoring a number of people who may have been exposed to the virus through contact with Duncan.
