Shock barely describes Dr. Ruth’s reaction when she entered the room to find all of her closest family and friends gathered to surprise her on her 82nd birthday. Expecting that everyone had forgotten about her, Dr. Ruth was overjoyed to find that quite the opposite was true. Among the guests and performers were legendary actor, singer and musician Theodore Bikel, and Maestro Matthew Lazar and the Zamir Chorale.
