A wickedly inspired rendition of the Frankenstein legend, this story follows bright young Dr. Frankenstein as he attempts to complete his grandfather’s masterwork and bring life to the dead.

Together with his curvaceous lab assistant Inga, his oddly shaped and endearing sidekick Igor, the fear-inducing Frau Blücher, and in spite of his incredibly self absorbed pretentious fiancé Elizabeth, Frankenstein succeeds in creating a monster with hilarious complications. A comic twist on the traditional Frankenstein story – laboratory dancing and yodeling foreplay – raising the dead has never been this alive!

Young Frankenstein ended its Broadway run on January 4, 2009 after over 500 performances, and has begun a national tour.

UPDATE: Young Frankenstein will be opening at the Garrick Theatre in London in the Fall of 2017. More information here and here.
