Unless you’ve been living under a WiFi-less rock, you may have noticed that physicians have been talking endlessly about the Supreme Court recent healthcare decision. The Supreme Court in a 5-4 decision upheld that the individual mandate requiring all individuals to opt for insurance or face a tax penalty was constitutional. The Court also decreed that states had the right to choose whether they wanted to expand their Medicaid programs to meet the goals of the Affordable Care Act.
