WHO: No Proven Ebola Treatments So Far

According to Reuters, the World Health Organization has begun its assessment of over 120 potential Ebola treatments, though it reports that none are definitively effective. Among the drugs with high expectations is ZMapp, the Ebola treatment developed by Mapp Bio that was administered to two American aid workers who survived the virus, though its efficacy is yet to be proven. Clinical trials of three treatments will be conducted by Medecins Sans Frontieres next month, with expected results of the studies in February 2015.
