New studies on children’s sleeping habits reveal that sleep deprivation and problems such as sleep apnea raise the risk for early adolescent obesityCBS News reports. A 15-year study published in the Journal of Pediatrics looked at nearly 2,000 children and found that more severe sleeping issues correlated to a greater risk for obesity.
