Sleep In, Save Your Brain

If you’re like most and sleep less than the recommended number of hours, you may be putting your brain at risk for faster aging, Reuters article reports. According to a study published in Sleep, the shrinking of brain structures could be hastened in middle-aged and older people. The study looked at adult brain volumes through MRI scans, analyzing the changes in the brains of a Chinese cohort before and after the two-year study.
