Poor Care at VA Hospital May Have Killed Over 1,000 Veterans

The deaths of more than 1,000 veterans may have been a result of poor care of malpractice from Veterans Affairs medical centers, says an article published by CNN News.  Government investigations are being conducted in 69 VA medical centers, and the VA has admitted that 23 patients died due to a delay in care, though Senator Tom Coburn believes that this number has amounted to over 1,000 over the past 10 years. In addition, an investigation of VA staff reported a number of crimes, including drug dealing, theft, and sexual abuse of patients.
