Obama Administration Reports “Passing Grade” for HealthCare.gov

The New York Times reports that on Sunday, the Obama Administration, at its deadline, reported that it had met its goal for improving HealthCare.gov. The administration reports that it has made “hundreds of software fixes and hardware upgrades in the past month.” At this point, pages load in under a second, as compared to the 8 seconds they took to load in October. Additionally, the website is said to work 90% of the time, as compared to 40% in October. The changes are reported to be due to “additional technical expertise and a strong management structure to drive the prioritization and metric-driven execution of fixes.”
