Novavax Ebola Vaccine to Start Human Clinical Trials

According to Reuters, Novavax Inc has begun human trials of its Ebola vaccine in the hopes for becoming the most effective vaccine for the deadly illness. After a drop in reported Ebola cases, the number is on the rise once again and Novavax claims it is capable of manufacturing millions of doses on a monthly basis to stop this from happening. The Ebola GP Vaccine is to be tested in 230 healthy volunteers in Australia who will receive two injections 21 days apart. The Novavax vaccine is said to require a smaller dose than other vaccines being developed, can be stored at standard refrigerator temperatures, and can attack multiple strains of the virus.
