New Faster-Acting Erectile Dysfunction Drug Approved

A new erectile dysfunction drug that cuts wait time before sexual activity has been approved by the FDA, Reuters article says. Co-developed by Auxilium Pharmaceuticals and Vivus Incs., Stendra is the first approved ED drug that can be taken 15 minutes before sexual activity. Stendra, which belongs to the phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor drug class, is used to help increase blood flow to the penis, and can be used safely with moderate alcohol consumption.
