The National Gallery of Ireland has a prestigious collection of Western European art dating from the medieval period through the twentieth century. Located in the heart of Georgian Dublin, the Gallery is just a short walk from Trinity College. The National Gallery contains an impressive collection, including Caravagio’s “The Taking of Christ,” as well as works by Picasso, the Dutch and Flemish artists, and the best collection of Irish art in the world.
