Family of Dead US Ebola Patient Question Doctors

Shortly after the death of the first U.S. Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan was reported, his family began to question the care he received at Texas Presbyterian Hospital. According to an article published by Bloomberg News, certain physicians are saying that his chances of survival would have been higher, had treatment been initiated earlier. Duncan only received treatment after several days of exhibiting symptoms of the virus, and did not receive Chimerix‘s experimental drug, brincidofovir until 10 days after the onset of his illness.
