Ebola “Grand Challenges” Contest Sparks Ingenuity

In an effort to increase the amount of time doctors and nurses can battle the tropical heat while treating Ebola, 1,500 submissions have been made to the Ebola “Grand Challenges” Contest, reports The New York Times. The contest has seen submissions such as  an Ebola-repellant lotion, protective gear similar to a wet suit, and various types of cooling under garments.
