E-Cigarettes May Be Ousted By New Voke Inhaler

According to a Reuters article, a new nicotine inhaler has been released in the UK as a medicinal product, and may replace traditional e-cigarettes as an aid for smoking cessation. Since the Voke Inhaler operates without heat, electronics, or battery, it is not an e-cigarette. The device is equipped with a breath-activated micro-valve that quells nicotine cravings, and while it is designed to serve as a replacement to e-cigarettes, nicotine patches and chewing gum, the absence of a visible vapor may cause skepticism among smokers trying to quit.
