Can Autism Be Reversed with Early Treatment?

According to an article published by CBS News, treatment for autism in the first six months of life can improve outcomes of the condition, with a possibility for eliminating symptoms altogether. A study published in the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders looked at a 12-week treatment plan in infants with symptoms of the disorder between the ages of 7 and 15 months. Children treated in the first year of life had fewer symptoms, as well as a reduction in language and developmental delays.
