At Least 740 Exposed in El Paso Tuberculosis Incident

According to an article published by CBS News, more than 700 patients and 40 employees at an El Paso nursery have been exposed to tuberculosis. Last month, after an employee tested positive for TB and was placed on leave, 749 patients and workers at the nursery have been identified by the health department. David Wright, a regional administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services says a hospital inspection has shed light on several violations, and pose an immediate risk to patient safety.
