After a heart attack or stroke physicians usually recommend that patients adopt a healthier lifestyle. They are urged to quit smoking, eat a healthier diet and exercise regularly. A new study examined whether people living in high, middle and low-income countries around the world, did adopt a healthier lifestyle after having a coronary event or stroke.
