Abuse-Resistant Narcotic Approved By FDA

The FDA has approved a new narcotic painkiller made by Purdue Pharma, says an article published by CBS NewsTarginiq ER is oxycodone combined with nalaxone, a drug designed to block the euphoric effects of the narcotic when it is crushed, snorted, dissolved, or injected. However, the oxycodone part of the drug can still be abused in it’s most common way, taking too many pills. Still, the FDA noted that this approval is part of a greater effort to stop painkiller abuse, while still providing relief for patients with chronic pain.
