David Best drops in to visit the Little Tea Shop, the oldest restaurant in Memphis. The owner Sue Lock does all the cooking herself. She says, “if it’s good, I did it!” While the Little Tea Shop mostly serves up southern-style food, Sue is originally from Jerusalem and tries to incorporate Middle Eastern flavors into her extensive menu. “We try not to cook with lard, fat, grease or pork,” says Sue. If you’re in Memphis, stop by the Little Tea Shop for a healthy and delicious lunch.
