Joshua Grill, PhD, Director, Katherine and Benjamin Kagan Alzheimer’s Disease Treatment Development Program, UCLA, discusses new therapies for Alzheimer’s Disease. The FDA has currently approved 5 symptomatic therapies for Alzheimer’s disease but there are no drugs that inhibit disease progression. The main barrier to finding new therapies is the lack of people willing to participate in clinical trials.
