Jay Alberts, PhD, Assistant Staff, Lerner Research Institute, Cleveland Clinic, gives us an overview of Parkinson’s Disease and describes study results which showed that exercise therapy had a lasting effect of 4 weeks after exercise had ceased.

Summary
Parkinson’s disease symptoms appear to be responsive to exercise therapy and the effects last for at least 4 weeks after withdrawal of exercise.
